Daroga  appreciation post.

Why is the Persian missing from so many Phantom movies ?

See how important he is !

It’s December, so here’s a Christmas photo.
According to the person who posted this pic on Facebook, the scene was   was deleted in the final release print. Raoul and Christine are exchanging presents on Christmas day, but Erik had come in earlier disguised as Santa Claus and switched the presents. Then Christine opens the present Raoul got her, but Erik had replaced it with the severed head of a stagehand. Christine, thinking that is Raoul’s strange sense of humor, pretends to like it and Raoul, seeing how she likes it, is afraid to tell her that wasn’t his present. Needless to say, hilarity ensues. Carl Laemmle later decided that was a little bit too much comic relief, so it was cut. That explains why she is in her PHANTOM costume.

Whatever really happened, we have this photo :)

Love this, love that it was for an event in Texas. Alamo Drafthouse is the best.

Look at the Daroga! This is fabulous!
